It’s been a hot and especially humid day out so far, with temperatures rising into the upper 80s, and with heat indices into the 90s!  A few scattered and light showers have affected parts of the area, but most of the heavy showers and storms have remained to our south in Central Virginia.  More rain is on the way—will it affect your weekend plans?  Find out after the break!

EF0 Tornado Confirmed Monday in MD

An EF-0 tornado was confirmed to have touched down yesterday near Clinton, Maryland in Prince George’s County, says the National Weather Service in Sterling, Virginia.
