Another change this weekend as we returned to cooler temperatures—dropping from around 80° on Friday to the lower 60s yesterday behind the front. It’s been even cooler today with temperatures only reaching into the upper-50s, well below the normal of 69°. Otherwise, it has been a fantastic weekend with completely sunny skies. Clouds dominated the region today as a cold front lingers just South of DC in Virginia. Some extremely persistent isolated showers have been loafing around the Charlottesville area along the front, as shown on the radar image from 8:42 pm. Even with the clouds, temperatures still managed to reach into the mid- to upper-70s today, with Reagan Washington National hitting 80°. Read on past the break for your weekend forecast!
