Another change this weekend as we returned to cooler temperatures—dropping from around 80° on Friday to the lower 60s yesterday behind the front. It’s been even cooler today with temperatures only reaching into the upper-50s, well below the normal of 69°. Otherwise, it has been a fantastic weekend with completely sunny skies. It’s going to be a cold one tonight, with the low getting all the way down around 40°, with a frost advisory in effect for some of the higher elevations!
Temperatures will begin to warm up starting tomorrow, but it will not be much thanks to a low pressure disturbance riding up the Atlantic Coast which will continue to bring cool air from the north. That system has a slight chance to bring the area scattered showers in the afternoon/evening Monday, but they should remain more to the east.
The warmth will not make a prominent return until Wednesday ahead of another front, with highs reaching into the upper-60s.
That front will pass through Wednesday evening into early Thursday, and is expected to be fairly weak, brining only showers and slightly cooler temperatures again for Thursday.
Skies will remain partly cloudy with temperatures around 65° through the end of the week, with a chance of evening showers on Saturday.
