5day Forecast for 6/2/13

Showers, storms, and some isolated severe weather all around the DC area today ahead of a cold front moving towards us from the West.  High temperatures only reached up to the mid- to upper- 80s this afternoon thanks to cloud cover moving in early.  With the cold front moving through tonight, what will the work week look like?  Read on past the break to find out!

Scattered rain showers, with isolated pockets of heavy downpours, will continue to progress through the area overnight and into Monday morning.  The rain should taper off during the AM hours.  Skies will begin to clear in the late afternoon on Monday as the cold front moves out of the area.

Temperatures will be cooler, and much more seasonable for the week, hovering around 80° through Friday.

Skies will remain sunny to partly cloudy on Tuesday and Wednesday, with clouds building up more starting Thursday.

The next chance of precipitation will be in the afternoon on Friday into Saturday morning as another frontal system passes through.
