An EF-0 tornado was confirmed to have touched down yesterday near Clinton, Maryland in Prince George’s County, says the National Weather Service in Sterling, Virginia.

At 7:33 pm, a small tornado touched down south of Clinton, near Floral Park Road, and traveled north for 2.3 miles through forest and home developments before dissipating just southeast of the MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center.
According to the NWS, winds peaked at 60 mph and the tornado has a maximum width of 75 yards.
In their preliminary findings, the Sterling-based branch of the Weather Service states, “[the] winds were enough to snap large limbs between 6 and 12 inch diameter,” as well as twist and snap limbs near the top of trees.
Minor siding damage was reported in the Crestview Manor Development, as well as fence damage.
