Web

In addition to the design for my personal site here, here are some others I have designed and/or coded:

DC Area Weather

DC Area Weather

Created, from scratch, a simple weather information page for the Washington D.C. metro area.  Using the newest web technologies, users can get an up-to-date 5 day forecast, current conditions, radar, and recent weather tweets, all of which are presented in an easy-to-view, beautiful HTML5/CSS3 presentation.  Best viewed in the newest version of Safari, Chrome, or Firefox.

Technologies used: HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, PHP, MySQL, Dreamweaver, Photoshop — Years: 2010-Present

CalU Meteorology

California University of Pennsylvania Meteorology

Maintained the California University of Pennsylvania Meteorology website from 2009 – 2010.  Added a weather information box with current conditions, quick links, and weather products.  Allowed videos and webcam images to fade-in when their respective links were clicked.  Created a new image header for the page.

Technologies used: ASP, Text Editor, Dreamweaver, Flash, Quicktime/Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, GIMP — Years: 2008-2010

StormFest Informational Site

California University of Pennsylvania StormFest Informational Page

Created, from scratch, the informational page for California University of Pennsylvania’s StormFest event which is held yearly at the Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, PA.  This site is used to give parties such as local schools, as well as the general public, information about the event, and is still used today for the yearly event (linked is the 2010 event version).

Technologies used: HTML, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Flash

Breslyn.com

Breslyn.com

Created, from scratch, a content management system for high-school chemistry teacher Wayne Breslyn.  Using PHP, the administrator can add news, documents, videos, photo galleries, and quizzes with no knowledge of HTML or any other web technologies.

Technologies used: PHP, MySQL, Text Editor, GIMP — Years: 2005-2006
